Using it

Read, search, sing, project and print freely — for your own singing, your mandal’s, your sangh’s, at a program, a pathshala or at home. No account is needed and no permission is required.

The texts

Most of what is here is traditional and long out of any copyright. Where a text has a known author it is named, and where its rights are unclear the song says so. Nothing here is offered as a licence to reproduce a text commercially — that remains between you and whoever holds those rights.

If something is yours

Use the form at the foot of any song. A claim is read by a person, and a text whose removal is asked for by a rights holder is dropped from the next published corpus — which means it leaves every reader’s device, not just this website.

Your account

Accounts are by invitation while this is a closed beta. Please do not pass on an invite code you were given for yourself, and do not use somebody else’s account. We may close an account used to attack the service or to submit texts in bad faith.

No warranty

This is offered as it is. Texts are checked against sources where possible and mistakes are still possible; if a gatha matters, check it against a printed book. Addvertiz is not liable for anything arising from use of the app.
